Project Title: The effects of land-cover and climate change on avian communities in coastal California
I am a graduate student analyzing the effects of land-cover change and climate change on birds over an 18-year period in coastal California. I am analyzing and comparing two datasets, one from the California Channel Islands, and the other from the Breeding Bird Survey. I use a variety of analytical techniques to model the relationships between land-cover and climate change to avian abundance. My research is intended to further our understanding of global change on biodiversity in coastal California.
